🇯🇴 Flag: Jordan Meaning
The flag of Jordan features horizontal black, white, and green bands with a red triangle on the hoist side containing a white seven-pointed star. The black, white, green, and red colors are the Pan-Arab colors. The flag was adopted on April 18, 1928, and later modified in 1939. The black represents the Abbasid dynasty, white the Umayyad dynasty, green the Fatimid dynasty, and red sacrifice and struggle. The seven-pointed star represents unity with the seven verses of the first surah of the Quran. The flag reflects Jordan's Arab heritage and Islamic identity.
