🇪🇬 Flag: Egypt Meaning
The Egyptian flag features three horizontal stripes of red, white, and black from top to bottom. The red stripe represents the period before the 1952 revolution and sacrifice, white symbolizes the peaceful nature of the Egyptian people, and black denotes the end of oppression under British colonial rule. In the center of the white stripe is the Eagle of Saladin in gold, which is a symbol of Arab nationalism and power. The current design was adopted in 1984, replacing a similar version with two green stars. The flag's proportions are 2:3, maintaining a balanced and dignified appearance.
