🇩🇰 Flag: Denmark Meaning
The flag of Denmark, known as Dannebrog, is a red field with a white Nordic cross that extends to the edges of the flag. The vertical part of the cross is shifted to the hoist side. As the oldest continuously used national flag in the world, its design has influenced many other Nordic flags. The red color represents bravery and the white cross symbolizes Christianity. According to legend, the flag fell from the sky during the Battle of Lyndanisse in Estonia on June 15, 1219, and led to Danish victory.
